A work 'colleague' from a job decades ago used to fix carpark ticket issuing machines and boom gates with a hammer - seems to be similar technique....

lol yeah, something like that. Do have new puter, but got the same problem with disk write error. After doing all the fixes with nothing working I finally just kept clicking download until it stopped telling me there was an error. Seemed to work a treat :pleased:
