Saught's Orc Assets/Buildings/Ruins/Walls

Description
While these are "more" than just "orc" models, their theme comes from an Orc... area.

This is somewhere in the range of about 280 models. Almost none of which I've manually set colliders for this time lol, but typically they utilize mesh colliders. Everything's been adapted for TTS.

I've provided meshes for some of the rocks so you can apply whatever texture you want to them, but no guarantee they'll look nice (some of them have unique UV's for specific atlases so... y'know...) but yolo whatever i guess. You'll likely want to use some seamless texture on it though. If there's any specific mesh/texture that you want from the table, simply request it in a comment (with the name included) and I can update the table (or drop a dl link) for you.

Inside you can find:
  • Dirt, Rocks, & Waterfalls
  • Stone Buildings, Columns, Doors, Fireplaces, Statues, & Walls
  • Stone Ruins Braziers, Bridges, Columns, Debris, Gates, Towers, & Walls
  • Wooden Debris, Doors, Fences, Platforms, Scaffolding, Supports, & Walkways
  • Various other stuff

Anyway, this stuff should be useful for fantasy RPGs but I'm sure you guys can find a use for other games, or simply pilfer objects for whatever you want.

Feel free to use this stuff for other mods. You don't need to credit me or link anything, but it'd be nice.

I kind of looked into this as a supplement for my Winter Assets mod, so check that out here:

This goes hand in hand with the other Orc Assets mod, so check that out here:

The gorgeous terrain assets in the example build are yoinked from Cobop's fantastic build:

and as always Demorid's miniature table full of mz4250's models (and others!):

Hi @Saught - I think you've understood. Yeah i usually use a tile with an off-the-internet picture for a base (grass, mud etc.) instead of a battlemap or such, as Boards don't scale to the projected grid properly (without considerable effort) but i recently stated mapmaking with uneven surfaces, inspired and particularly using your 'landscape1' model from your 'outdoor assets mod' as the grid does project onto it, and the ground is uneven (as opposed to a perfectly flat tile.) If I can find 'changeable' surfaces in the winter mod I shall try there, the the uneven surfaces is great compared to the flatness of most maps. Thank you for the response!

@Plum Sorry, which landscape assets are you referring to exactly? I rarely make any of the meshes or textures myself though I do a lot of editing on pretty much everything (like fixing geometry, removing giant sections, or separating smaller assets from prefabs).

If you're talking about the example build from this mod the terrain assets are from CaptainCobop (I believe he's mentioned he sculpts them himself) and there's a link in the description. Example builds in my other mods however have "landscape bases" that I've made in Blender using ANT which also requires setting normals & the UV map. I specifically try to get grid projection to work on the ones I've made.

I'd recommend taking a look at the Winter Assets mod I uploaded and grabbing the 5(?) base meshes that are on the far right of that table. You should be able to change the texture with them (they aren't assetbundles) and if you want height variation you can scale the y axis and clip pieces into each other.

Hi Saught - Love the Stuff you do, please keep it up. I make scenes with those slightly-textured bases you have - are they from anywhere else mod-wise, or do you make them? Since these "Landscape" items are usually assetbundles, I'm thinking you make them? I wouldn't mind seeing them all side-by-side sometimes as sometimes I struggle to find the one i want, and I'm never sure if grid projection will work on them. Is there an easier way I can find these bases? They're way better than the flat 'tiles' I use with semi-relevant texture images on. Any help you could give/suggest would be great.

Yay for lizardfolk! :D

@Ðrim Mhm, although it's kind of a long complicated process to fix them up and sort/name them. There's like tens of thousands of amazing unique assets I want to get to but it's just something that'll take time.

Probably not *all* locations/races. I don't play the game and I really dislike the combat system so I don't ever plan on getting their DLC to explore a lot of those areas. Buuuut, they had a week long "free +" thing a few months ago and I spent a couple days wandering through them gathering all the assets I've been working on (and will continue to work on for like the next year lol). With the two recent "Orc" mods, I've finished one "area folder", and I have about 6 others left. Currently been doing a more swampy "lizardfolk" one since I've seen a lot of interesting swamp/marsh themed builds on the workshop that could use some more love. Might not be the next thing I publish since I'm not even close to finishing, but just what I'm working towards.

Are the recent assets from ESO as in Elder Scrolls Online? If so, you plan to get assets from all locations/races? Loving all the nordic themed stuff thus far.
