@CaleDark - It still works, but I won't be updating it or moving it to Total War: Warhammer 3 whenever Immortal Empires hits. Starting Traits Fishing is the only special character-related mod I'm updating going forward.

Just a note for anyone interested, this mod still works. This looks to be reasonably proof against patches.

@manx2007 - if you have a specific idea for what Cavill should get, add it to the reddit post below please.

if you can do something with cavil, will be great. in my opinion, a trait like "fecund" for him is not suited. great mod, thanks.

It's a very useful mod, thank you. Furthermore, could you please modify Mikbaela to a legenday hero? And let other factions can recruit her, like legendary heroes in the "dog of war“ mod.

Totally agree with wolfe here, fixing all traits of starting heroes in place would be a major QoL improvement

I wasn't really thinking of any specific lords when I wrote that comment, I just find fishing for traits a bit annoying in general. Basically any lord that starts with a free hero has a chance of that hero starting with a garbage trait, and a loooot of lords start with a hero. It could be cool if someone decided to go through all the individual starting heroes and fix them with a thematic trait, though idk what you'd pick for many of them. Like Cavill should obviously start with a trait that fits thematically with him being Geralt in loremaster form (athletic maybe or something that grants bonus vs large, idk) but idk what you'd give to Kroq'Gar's generic skink priest for example. I'm not a modder so feel free to ignore me, I just saw this mod and my first thought was "oh there's a ton of heroes who could use a similar treatment"

@wolfe374171 - but just to make sure I understand the request properly, which characters do you normally fish traits for and what skill do you think they should have?
