Fjordland is a quite old map, constructed back in summer '13. It features 2 major cities, Fjordland (center) and Nordland (top right) which are absoluteeley stuck in traffic (especially if playing a +300%pop. ruleset). After a huge highway project didn't bring any sucess, the cities decided to search for somebody to reactivate the existing railway network and build up a huge public transportation system. Urban, suburban and industrial areas mix on the map to provide different sceneries and the fjords offer the opportunity to build up a ferry system. One of the prebuildt metro lines is four tracked and equipped with small split up sections for major stations and express train use between the two major cities.

Just amazing, this is one of the few maps that still after all this time keeps me playing CIM2. Sadly the game doesn't have more modability, it would have more public and survived longer.

Very fun map, much more interesting and organic than the boring American grids that flood the workshop

Great map. The railways can be tricky, but are a good challenge.

Having fun sorting out the traffic on this one. Almost every major avenue in the city is a Freeway now, with beltways around the city! However, I'm finding a combination of Metro/Tram is working.
