Capital City Income Scaling

Description
This mod is intended to make turtling in a small empire a more viable experience and provide help to factions who never expand beyond their starting territory.

- Primarily a script mod, so it should be compatible with everything (including SFO).
- Save-game compatible.

Capital City Income Scaling adds a progressively increasing income bonus to all capital cities (the faction capital that is), including AI. This bonus is reduced for every settlement that a faction owns beyond their capital.
The equation is a little complicated. Every ten turns the maximum income bonus will increase, with the increase accelerating as the campaign wears on. For a faction with a major settlement as their capital the income bonus goes 0, 75, 152, 231, 312, 395, 480, 567 etc... and for minor settlement capitals its 0, 100, 202, 306, 412, 520...
For every settlement you own beyond your capital the bonus income will be reduced by 2 increments, and by 1 for each undercity or pirate cove. The bonus has a minimum of 0, so you won't lose money from expanding. The maximum bonus will stop increasing at turn 500.

There are two additional effects:
- To balance this for horde factions, they receive +1 horde growth factionwide at turn 20 and at decreasing intervals after that. You can see the current bonus in the faction overview screen.
- Factions who have lost all their settlements receive an upkeep discount, scaling with the turn number of the campaign. It starts at -4% upkeep from turn 1 and finishes at -100% upkeep at turn 250. You can again see the current bonus in the faction overview screen.

Feedback and bugs are welcome in the comments.

Do you intend on making this mod for WH3 as well?

Away from my pc until the end of June unfortunately so I can't update any mods. I might explore the possibility of allowing you to select which city it applies to one day.

Well darn. There /are/ a few mods that make the capital switch to Drakenhof, but they're sadly incompatible with Mixu's Unlocker, which I need for several /other/ mods... This truly /is/ a pity, ngl.

The bonus will apply to whichever city the game recognises as your capitol, not sure if Von Carsteins automatically switch to Castle Drakenhof when they take it. You should be able to see the little effect icon in the region effects bar. You'd probably have to lose Schwartschafen deliberately to get Drakenhof as your capitol city.

I wonder. For, say, the Von Carsteins, once/if they take Drakenhof: Would the bonus apply to Swartshafen (oof), or to Drakenhof (yay!)?

Thanks for all your ongoing work :)

Yes. There should be a little icon in the region effects panel telling you the current bonus.

Hi, where can this additional income be seen? Thanks

Updated. No changes but the "Outdated" message is gone now.

This mod should work fine for the new patch without being updated.
