GLaDOS Pill

A not-so-simple pill that turns you into GLaDOS from the Portal games, I made this project for fun and have been developing it on and off for about a year. As such, it is horribly coded, but functional regardless - I don't recommend running this on a large server if you don't want your computer to explode.

Please read the instructions before using this pill!

To use the pill, you need to be looking at a ceiling (or just the underside of a prop). Be aware that because GLaDOS's model is rather large, you should do this with caution and not with a low ceiling to avoid your camera clipping out of the world. For best effects, I recommend playing on the included map which is a modified version of the original GLaDOS boss battle map made with various events that occur after GLaDOS has been defeated. Alternatively, another map simply called exists without these added events, and is simply a logic-removed version of the original map.

Once you have spawned in as GLaDOS sucesfully, you will notice you are unable to leave the pill. This is intentional and due to the way the pill is coded, in order to leave the pill you will need to destroy the final core (the anger core) which will start the destruction sequence, you can do this easily by simply using the context menu's remove option. After the sequence is complete, you will respawn normally and the pill is able to be used again.

As the fight progresses, you can cycle through GLaDOS's lines by left clicking, they will play in the order heard in the original fight!

In order for GLaDOS to take damage and drop cores, the person attacking the pill needs to be looking towards the top of GLaDOS's model where the wires are, this is because I couldn't get the hitbox to scale properly and I'm too lazy to fix it at the moment. Sorry.

Destroying cores progresses the fight and causes GLaDOS to react accordingly (stronger attacks, different dialouge, etc.)

The numbers that appear on screen are meant to represent a neurotoxin timer, with the timer being reset to lower numbers each time a core is destroyed. If the timer hits zero, every player outside of the one controlling GLaDOS will die due to neurotoxin inhalation - however after this they can respawn and finish the fight as normal. I may try to edit this in future to have a specific 'ending' if this occurs but I am unsure how that would look, so for now it is how it is.

Left Click: Advance through lines.

First phase (before the morality core has been destroyed):
Right Click: Interact with certain objects (open/close doors, press buttons, etc)

Second phase (after the morality core has been destroyed):
Right Click: Emit a laser towards where you are looking, deals 10 damage a second.
Reload: Fire 3 rockets, one after the other.

Third phase (after the intelligence core has been destroyed):
Right Click: Emit two lasers, the secondary one being to the left of the primary laser.
Reload: Fire 6 rockets, one after the other.

I am aware that doing things like removing the model or otherwise forcibly exiting the pill early (before the body has gone out of world and the pill kicks you out normally) will cause the pill to break completely, requiring a server restart to get it to work again. This is a failure on my own part and I apologise, but since the pill is otherwise functional it is not my top priority to fix this. So long as you do not forcibly exit the pill, you should be fine.

There are almost certainly various other bugs that I am not aware of, however I am yet to encounter them. If you find any bugs other than those listed above, please leave a comment and let me know what's going on. I can't guarantee that I will fix it, but I will investigate.
