Description
(CV CPU Tier 4, Class 4, Unlock Level 25, Reforged Eden Only)

Primary roles: Land and space combat CV, Shield, Warp, Reforge Eden Only

The Kriel Interfector (Assassin) is a horizontal flight and vertical landing combat vessel. It has an impressive amount of atmosphere friendly cannon turrets, most being able to fire both forward and backwards as well as protect all other angles. The ship lands using a first person cockpit on the back. It also has a 3rd person only cockpit to fly forward. The interior allows ground access and piloting however for the interior layout to make sense getting to all 3 floors, the ship needs to rotated to a horizontal position which you would normally use flying. This ship is purely a war machine as does not have much other features such as hangar or farm. The ship has T2 shield however a standard warp core (T1)

Combat features

The hull is built with 2/3 xeno blocks and 1/3 combat steel with multiple layers of protection especially on the front (using 3rd person cockpit). It comes with 58 cannon turrets and 4 minigun turrets. All turrets can function both in space and on planets allowing it to take on enemy space POI's/CV's as well as ground POI's. This was used and tested in Reforged Eden game play. It also comes with 2x 320K ammo storage controllers.

Survival features

This ship has a few basics such as O2 and dispenser, fridge, armor locker, 2 small constructors, and 2 320K ammo storage controllers. It has no farm, hangar, or any other quality of life features. It has both a 1st person (landing, reverse flight cockpit) as well as a 3rd person secure (forward flight cockpit). It also has 2 extra cargo boxes.

Features Summary:

1. Reforged Eden only - 1 basic core, 2 improved cores, 5 advanced cores (2.1 million CPU).
2. Xeno/combat steel hull, 58 cannon turrets, 4 minigun turrets.
3. 2x320K ammo storage, 2 small constructors, 1st and 3rd person cockpits)
4. Detector, WiFi, Fridge, armor locker, Med station, O2 + Station, T2 shield, T1 warp core.
5. Horizontal flight, vertical landing.
6. Built as a combat specific ship for all combat situations.

Notes: At first, this ship may seem very strange as it works at 2 different interior angles. In the vertical position (landing), interior hallways beyond the entry room will seem out of place and not really meant to go to until you take off, hold the O key until the ship levels off into it's horizontal position. Then you will have normal access via elevator to 3 small decks. The ship also has an extra hardened area to add additional quantum cores. In one text, I replaced 16 cannon turrets (center column of each arm) with rocket launchers which will fit into CPU with 1 quantum core added.

Attacking ground POI's can be done in both forward and reverse cockpits. If you do replace some turrets with space on weapons, it is recommended to do it on the center column of all for arms first as this will still allow you to fly the other direction keeping still a large amount of cannon turrets to hit ground POI's as well as have a 1st person view.

One last note, small constructors can make 30 mm ammo which this ship will use A LOT of. When making the ammo thou, you must select "base" and not CV on the 1st building tab. 30 mm ammo is the same for both but does not show as a listed build option if CV is selected.

New explosion damage on Reforged Eden has not been kind to my Interfector:steamfacepalm: Attacked a Zirax space base that before the update could destroy with only the loss off the forward turrets. This time two minutes into attack chain reaction explosions just tear off the entire front of the ship and gut the entire interior of EVERYTHING! Left with the 4 arms and mostly all of the turrets intact but just a hollow shell of the rest of the poor ship. :steamsad: The new explosive damage to eveything is just to OP now. :steamthumbsdown:

Love all this kriel stuff, sleek, interchangable, well rounded if not OP. I personally love that the SV's are the perfect size to enter and dock in the CV's and the HV's have these nifty little drop hatches and stuff. :cozybethesda:

I found out yesterday I already subscribed to the mod. And that since September 2020.
I didn't know that anymore. xD
I forgot that a friend recommended this mod to me last year.
But I didn't have time to play at that point ...
And so it was forgotten.
But thank you for the detailed description of what this mod provides. It's very interesting and my next game will be that scenario.
I am currently playing Vanilla with a friend. And we are right in the middle. And for our vanilla game, I'll make this ship functional ...
This ship cannot be missing in my vanilla collection either. :)

Thank you Illyria and EarlGreyVII! @Illyria, you can find the Reforged Eden mod on the workshop here. I would check it out as it really does add a lot of content to the game, especially the end game. There is just more to do and more upgrades and things to get in game but may be more difficult vs vanilla as well. Even a ship like this one with 62 stock turrets would be far to small and weak to deal with some of the really crazy enemy AI ships and things in the game. I would say there is a lot more game time to be had on a play thru vs vanilla and it is fun and motivational stuff to acquire to increase CPU or find advanced alien weapons etc. Not to mention, new guns, turrets, and parts for ships. And thanks again all!
