[WDM] Diamondback Interceptor (ICP)

The Diamondback Class Interceptor is a light fighter craft intended to serve as a compliment to a larger vessel's capabilities. A small profile allows the Diamondback to be easily stowed aboard capital ships, from where it can be deployed to perform defensive and scouting duties. A fragile frame and light shielding limits the Diamondback to short engagements, but an armored cockpit offers slightly more protection than a typical glass canopy. Equipped with two amplified beam projectors in the hull and four self-cooling laser cannons on the wings, it is best to drop a hostile's shields with beams before firing the laser cannons. The Diamondback Class lacks a warp drive, and therefore must be carried between systems by another vessel.
