Description
Buqar National Rail Corporation (مؤسسة بوقار الوطنية للسكك الحديدية - muasasat buwqar alwataniat lilsikak alhadidia - BNRC) is a government company tasked with the railway operations within and adjacent to Buqar. It mainly handles freight, but has made recent investments in passenger travel.

Their freight services provide the bulk transport of raw materials and goods shipping into, out of, and around the country. Widely active across the nation and occasionally spotted in neighboring countries, such as Takhamna.

American-made AC4400CW locomotives are a recent addition to Buqar's rail network, afforded brand-new thanks to the petrol money raked in. A couple of years in service will let the engines pay for themselves while they haul that same valuable oil into other markets. The purchase is also part of an initiative to give the BNRC freight services a cleaner, bolder appearance. The trains also make much more sense than a Middle-Eastern nation buying stock from New Zealand.

AC52088 is a demonstration of the make-over of BNRC itself, with a new bi-colour livery featuring less stencil-work and flags on the cab. It is one of several painted this way after AC50285 trialed successfully.

ah, fair. Orange is a desert colour but the blue would stand out against the actual desert better, not much else to it.

I'm not the biggest fan of the colors but you did good on the pattern!

Thanks! I like how it came out and the pattern is originally from the earlier BNRC AC44 I made.
