Thank you for the hint. I wasn't aware of this since I haven't played in a while. I will consinder updating this mod at some point.
With one of the last updates, this feature came to the game and there are quite some mods, which already support this. (ICE 3 for example).
I mean, your FLIRT 3 is one of the best mods in the workshop, with this feature, it would even be better.

As far as I'm aware, a train can only have a distinct first, middle and last car and only the middle car can be repeated. So, that's unfortunately not possible at the moment.

Could you make an Update, so you can couple up to 3 sets of FLIRT 3 together?

In regards to train sets, the Flirt is available in pretty much any imaginable configuration. PKP is running 8 car Flirt 3 as Intercities in Poland. There are plenty of railways here in Germany which run 5 or 6 car sets.
