Airborne cutoff

Description
This microcontroller helps prevent losing control of your boat when it jumps out of water.

A common occurance when a boat gets airborne is that the lack of water resistance on the propeller lets it spin up to very high speed, and once it makes contact with the water your boat shoots forward with a heavy backward tilt.

This controller reduces throttle by a customizable percentage once your propeller leaves the water, allowing for a softer landing in heavy waves and better control of your boat.

To use the controller, set up an altitude meter that is level to the bottom/middle of your propeller(s) (see picture)and route your throttle from your lever, engine controller etc. into this controller and then onward to your engine. Supposedly propellers lose their "grip" on the water near the middle, so middle is a good bet. (cheers bruhmoment)

Try to get your altitude meter as close to your propeller as your design will allow, an altitude meter placed in the front of the boat will be of no use.
