Moss Gilbert was a decent amateur boxer who has now moved into MMA. His strength is his stand-up work, with his quick hands and great footwork making him a tough opponent to trade with. He will need to work on his ground game before he can start to rise up the rankings though, as it presents a huge weakness. He suffered his first pro defeat in 1998, losing to the veteran Beau Gorshin, and suffered another setback in 2000 when yet another elite-level fight - Jake Keane - beat him.
