SC-44 Charger and Talgo

Since their first deliveries in 2017, the Siemens-built SC-44 Charger has become a common sight in many parts of America. These locomotives can be seen hauling commuter services in San Jose, San Diego, and Washington DC, as well as regional rail trains around Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Sacramento, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Portland, and Seattle.

The Talgo cars are somewhat unique to the Pacific Northwest in the United States, where their unique design allows Amtrak Cascades trains to operate at higher speeds on winding tracks through the Cascade mountains.
