Funnel Fun Normal and Advanced in one Chamber

Description
Funnel Fun. Just a nice puzzle using funnels enjoy.
Music: Portal Stories Mel (Portal 2 Mod) OST: Transitional Period Normal and Funnel Music.
Put in via the bee2 mod.

This is Funnel Fun with the normal Puzzle at the start and then an advanced version in the second half, enjoy.

Yes the first room is the normal Puzzle and the second room is an advanced version of the Puzzle with water, custom death fizzlers to make it harder. It is very much the same though because I just copied and mirrored it and added water and custom death fizzlers to make it harder, enjoy.

I did forget to put autosave triggers in with bee mod. I was going to do it but I forgot so I don't really want to export and republish it again just for putting autosave triggers in. So in the advanced area instead use F6 which autosaves the game incase you die or have to restart because you don't want to have to start again from the normal version at the start. Anyways thanks.

I meant there is one called smaller pedestal, or something well the editor icon is 3 of them lined up, for BEE2 a little bit of hacking into instances, a bit of JavaScript-style inline bunching, that's it, I done one on BEE2 before its fizzler fizzing out the game compiler, then I moved away and done one in plain Hammer that need none of that but some raw BSP manipulation. I'll help just drop me a line when you need.

Okay thanks. I guess they witnessed trapping situations on your maps sometimes then. You can just use the funnel to get out of it on this map. Yeah because it’s weird I know I didn’t think they would do that but you get trapped on the platforms sometimes I don’t know why it’s weird. Yes good to know. Thanks.

Okay thanks for the information. There already are pedestal buttons on timers or maybe you are talking about a slightly different one in BEE2 I will see if I can find it and have a look later. Thanks.

That is rather easy for me to do given @sheepdog and others like @bullfrog already witnessed me to do on my maps, go check my recent maps I can do it either in Hammer or BEE2. You need a pedestal button delegated to do this, there is a sideline kind BEE2 gave you.

I find it hard knowing what to do to prevent traps. I guess you got trapped behind the custom death fizzlers because you went behind it without portalling the funnel so you could go up which is not the solution. Your meant to go up with a Portal already on the funnel and then place the other portal to go up but anyway. Yeah I get that. Not sure what to do to prevent it though. I might think of something I don’t think I can still edit it though I might be able to I will see. Reloading is okay but not the best yeah thanks.

Yeah I know about that don’t worry. Yes you can get stuck on the platforms I didn’t realise that. You can get out by using the funnel though. I understand that. Some ways which are unintended are intended also :steamhappy:

So many traps that can corner players into a cul-de-sac in the advanced portion although it's still quite easy, and felt like I ran it slightly unintended since I have to quick reload constantly..
