Description
Revolutionary solution for connecting vehicles together. Allows to connect 5 vehicles together in a secure datalink with half-duplex telemetry and basic data. Also allows to connect with a full time link to any of those 5 vehicles for uninterrupted telemetry and remote control transceiving.

Features:
- Up to 5 vehicles in a link
- Encrypted information
- Shows vehicle type, position, bearing, speed, course and distance
- Allows to send 17 pre-programmed messages between any vehicles of the datalink
- Allows to view real time video feed from any of the vehicles
- Allows to connect to any of the vehicles for remote control and two-way telemetry
- 4 axis channels and 8 boolean channels for remote control
- 18 numerical channels and 10 boolean channels for two-way telemetry
- Allows to view all 5 members of the link on the map
- 2 Colour schemes, brightness control

--BASIC FUNCTIONALITY--
1. To connect users in a datalink
a) Click and hold SETT for 1 second in the main screen
b) Enter the same NET ID for all users
c) Enter the same ENCRYPTION key for all users
d) Enter a unique OWN ID for each user

2. To view data about users
a) Click on the user of interest in the main screen

3. To view video feed
a) Click on the user of interest in the main screen
b) Click on TV in the user screen

4. To exchange messages
a) Click on the user of interest in the main screen
b) Click on MSG in the user screen to view and send messages
c) Choose the message to send
d) Click SEND

5. To enable a hard link between users
5.1"Passive vehicle" and "Active vehicle" only refer to the way the link is established. The passive vehicle is the one that is standing by for a link, the active vehicle is the one attempting to initiate the link. It is important to note that both vehicles get the same functionality from the hard link. Both vehicles can send and receive telemetry and RC control data, no matter which one initiated the link.

5.2 Passive vehicle
a) Enter HARD LINK screen, make sure the SEND and RECEIVE settings are according to your preferences
b) Make sure the LINK button is not flashing and is not lit up

5.3 Active vehicle
a) Enter HARD LINK screen, make sure the SEND and RECEIVE settings are according to your preferences
b) Chose the user to connect to using arrows
c) Click LINK
- LINK not lit up and not flashing - standing by for active vehicles
- LINK flashing - attempting to connect to user
- LINK lit up - hard link established

5.4 If a link cannot be established automatically, this should not happen but if it does it can be done manually by performing the following actions
a) Vehicle A: Chose vehicle B to be the target
b) Vehicle A: Click LINK
c) Vehicle B: Chose vehicle A to be the target
d) Vehicle B: Click LINK

@Univonic I'm unsure but I don't see why it shouldn't, you can always give it a try

Does this system still work?

@cailean.coleman Hey, as a microcontroller guy to a microcontroller guy - don't give up, this chip has a lot of room for improvement. I like to pioneer and not do things that have already been made but this datalink system barely scratches the surface of what can be done. Finish yours up and make this one redundant, I don't even like it that much :)

I spent 700 hour of my life making my own AI (When I say AI I mean it just operates with little to no player input) datalink system, then this was made. I could say im mad but I then realized that this is really good because it means that others dont have to go through my pain.

Can this share radar information?

@yoshi Can you dump it? Probably yes. Easy way to do it? Probably no. You'd have to mess around with the microcontroller and try to figure it out.

Is there an easy way to dump all telemetry data from all users on one composite output?
