Description
NOTE: This grid will function with thruster damage ON. The internal layout is carefully arranged so no blocks are damaged by the thrusters.

The Su-147 "Chernyy Orel" (Black Eagle) is an all-environment SSTO tactical fighter created by the Sukhoi Design Bureau in the year 2077 to provide anti-aircraft capabilites, both planetside and in space. With extreme maneuverability and heavy armament, the Su-147 is intended as an extremely cheap and reliable option to combat enemy aircraft and lightly armed vessels.

The Su-147 is a single-pilot hydrogen thruster powered aircraft. It features parachutes to assist with reentry, and is capable of breaking out of the gravity well of any celestial body. On higher gravity planets, its endurance is not as long, so keep an eye on your fuel levels.

No subgrids. No mods. Designed to be practical for survival use.

it works fine in creative but in survival the H2/02 gen cant keep up and it runs out of hydrogen extremely quick on earthlike

I fill it with hydrogen and it only lasts for about 3 minutes of flight

@turtlemaster- this is just a blueprint, no mod

You can spawn in blueprints by pressing F10 in creative, then scrolling to the selected blueprint and clicking "copy to clipboard," then pressing left mouse button to paste the blueprint.

@overwerk- I'm considering messing around with hydro missiles for my next large grid cuz of their increased performance and decreased cost

@eErs- yes, I found this out entirely by accident but small grid blast doors are not damaged by any sort of thruster at all! I'm surprised not many other people exploit this but it helps my small grids look much cleaner

can i ask how do i get this to work? im new so i have no idea, i got some other mods to work but this one dosen't show up then, im playing on creative btw

Yeah, the way i handle missiles is often based on if i can reload them in combat or not.

If i can, then for small grids i mostly use ions/atmo because worse flight performance is compensated by the sheer amount of missiles that can be thrown down range.

If i cannot, then i seek to increase their performance as much as possible and simply print "racks" of fuelled missiles to install.

For large grid missiles i go almost hydrogen exclusive because it is far easier to load for print-able missiles
