Distortion Cannon [3.2.*]

Description
Adds a new Colossus weapon that turns a star into a black hole which will sometimes provide dark matter deposits. All planets in the system will start taking devastation damage until they reach 100% where they will be turned into a shattered planet sometimes providing mineral deposits.

Planets that are being devastated gain the Deteriorating modifier which greatly increases immigration push, and lowers habitability and immigration pull. This gives the planet some time to evacuate in the roughly 8 years it takes for the planet to crack. (Non-Inhabited planets take about 4 years to crack because they are not regenerating devastation over time)

The weapon requires the Dark Matter Drawing, Zero-Point Power, and Plasma Cannon technologies. It costs an additional 5000 alloys and 100 Dark Matter to build as well as having a 2 Dark Matter Upkeep.

As a warning, this weapon can cause a significant amount of graphical glitches. Notably super bright, super massive, non-interactable stars in the center of your galaxy. These are client side (they don't show up for everyone in multiplayer) and usually resolve after going in and out of a system or two. Save and Load should fix it as well. No longer relevant in 3.0.* ♥♥♥♥ update.

And to anyone wondering, yes it's a Warhammer reference.

v1.1: Updated to support modded star types (as long as they implement them correctly)

V1.2: Updated for 3.0.*. Black holes now show properly on the galaxy map and colossus uses the star eater's fancy explosion effect.

v1.3: Reverted the fancy explosion effect so as to not require the Nemesis DLC

v1.4: Updated for 3.2.*. Now give negative opinion modifiers like the other colossus weapons. Will slightly mess up existing save games, you will need to re-equip the component on to any existing colossi

hey the mod was workin a while back but now when i crack a star game instantly crashes can you help ?

The mod doesn't seem to work. It does turn the stars into black holes and give me an opinion penalty, but no planets are cracked and I've only seen one of them getting any negative modifiers.

Any hopes for update? Because it doesn't seem to work now

I'm reasonably sure that due to how Stellaris handles DLC, just using the particle effects is fine and the mod would not need the DLC as a requirement. I'm trying to find a friend who doesn't have the DLC to confirm, but if someone else can confirm it for me in game I would be appreciative. I will revert it back if this is not the case.

Is this going to be updated?

IMO this is better a implementation than NEMESIS vanilla star eater that are leaps and bounds better than any colossus.
