Beskrivning
This mod adds a generic Zoat Lord to all Wood Elves factions. On turn start each wood elf faction holding any magical forest region will be granted one Zoat Elder per region, available in the lord recruitment panel. This can only occur once per magical forest, so each of the wood elves factions could (in theory) have up to 4 Zoat Elders in Vortex, 8 in Mortal Empires. This also means that you won't be getting new ones if they die before becoming immortal.

This mod was created by Ubermorgen and Skørne as a submission for the Modding Den's[discord.gg] January 2021 Mod Jam, themed "Elf?".

- Generic Lord: Zoat Elder
It is said that Zoats are powerful magicians, and that they strive to protect the ancient forests of the Old World. In the ordinary run of things, Zoats are seldom encountered outside their woodland homes. Indeed, even within such places, it is rare to catch a sight of one. They seem to be well intentioned creatures, unwilling to interfere in the affairs of others. This does not stop them from destroying their enemies or protecting their homes. When intruders close or danger threatens, Zoats prefer to rouse the trees and undergrowth to crush and strangle interlopers, rather than take direct action themselves. In this way, Zoats can avoid detection, and even a single such creature can imbue a forest with a reputation so dreadful that even marauding Orcs and rampaging warherds will give the area a wide berth. Where sorcery alone is not sufficient, the Zoat will leave the shadows to enter the fray personally, knocking the invaders to the ground with sweeping blows.

@Pilatian: I plan to port this mod to WH3 eventually, but probably i'll start with some of the lizardmen mods first.

I would love a WH3 port of this when you eventually get a chance, but there's obviously no rush - I know you're busy with plenty of other projects!

@ubermorgen When I was talking about the other two generic options, I meant the Glade Lords, Treemen Ancients and Spellweavers which are the three generic lord options that wood elves get. The two part from the previous post was a mistake. My apologies.

@Autumnchain: Not sure which generic zoat lords you are talking about, these elders are somewhat generic though. The cap is not because they are strong but because zoats in general are supposed to be very rare and usually only live in magic forests and almost never show themselves.

Great mod lots of fun and hes a really good unit. Only thing is that I think he should have a charge defense. Other than that solid as hell.

I'm still on the previous patch to finish my save and the game doesn't load when this mod is active; just wanted to let you know.:)
