TS01 – Scrapper Joe’s Truck Stop

Scrapper Joe is a renowned scrap yard owner who’s trying to break into the refuelling business.
He converted an old colony ship with parts from his scrapyard into the brand new TS01 Truckstop.

It is both a ship and a space station and can easily be relocated if better economic opportunities arrive somewhere or if trade diminishes due to pirate activity.
Truckers can stop here to top up their tanks end enjoy some comfort while their cargo is loaded.
Orbital shuttles can dock there so people can easily get from the planet to orbit.
Leisure craft can stop for refuelling and enjoy in its comforts while waiting.

The TS01 features:
- Tanks and pumps for refuelling various liquids and gasses
- Landing platforms for smaller ships
- Docking options for larger ships
- A shipyard where he builds and repairs small container haulers
- 2 container loading bays.
- A hotel with 8 luxury rooms (with separate showers and toilets)
- A diner
- A shop
- Clean toilets
- Light gravity suited for aliens and humans alike.
- Scrapper Joe’s luxurious loft
- Crew quarters
- Business offices
- Worker village built from containers where the shipyards mechanics live
- A Vault where Joe keeps his valuables.

Engines

It is a heavy ship and has 4 engine bays just to get it moving.
Do not expect high speeds but it is stil warp and lightcruise capable.
On the side it has an array of thrusters to maneuver it in place for optimal accessebility for its customers.

Defensive capabilities

Tso1 has two large turrets to deter pirates and to discourage shoplifters.
On the front it has 4 small turrets intended for shooting down debris and small rocks that might damage the Truckstop.
As of now it has no working shields. There is said to be a dispute between scrappy Joe and the shield contractor about payments and disappearing tools.
But Scrappy Joe is not to worried for it's massive hull can take some damage.

more controls will be added as the gameplay develops.
The airlocks take 4 seconds to cycle.
