FEATURES:

Sacred Coil armor sets from Chimera Squad as one-piece torso sets, including:

-The Commando

-The Purifier

-The Ronin

-Primary & Secondary color slot tinting; The Primary slot controls the body highlights, the Secondary slot controls the lights.

-Reaper, Templar, Skirmisher Support.


Requires Invisible Limbs For Everyone to prevent the arm and leg slots from having armor pieces selected and clipping with the outfit, but if you use Unrestricted Customization you can ignore this requirement.

I suggest using One Million Colors to get the most out of the colorable lights, they can appear rather dim if you're not using a super bright color for them.

The Purifier and Ronin helmets can naturally be found in the Helmets section.

KNOWN ISSUES:

-The armor sets should be perfectly fine using X2's Soldier animation sets, so it's not really an issue per se, but i didn't do much testing or previewing before putting this mod up, so if you find any animation oddities with any of the sets let me know.

-The Helmet isn't separate on the Commando set, as the model comes pretty much in one piece, helmet included. If i were to separate it somehow, the set would most likely look weird without its helmet. Same applies to the Ronin's hood.

-The Ronin's hood is rather spacious when using the set without the helmet.


Tell me if you find any more, i'll see if i can do something about it.

Why are these male only? I know for a fact Sacred Coil has female troops last time I played Chimera Squad.

@VertigoJockey its definitely possible, all that you have to do is create a new character archetype and link it to a different model, then have playable aliens use that archetype for its alien classes. The only thing is that if you were to use torques model or whatever to replace the playable aliens viper, all of the playable aliens vipers' models would be replaced with that one model.

The problem from what I hear about with the Playable Aliens is that their thing is tied to the stock skins. Unless there's a way to unlink Playable Aliens from the stock alien skins its going to be unlikely.

Sacred Coil might my least favorite out of all CS Factions, but this is welcome nontheless. I hope we can get Shrike and the Progeny.

Well, now it's just getting Progeny, then the remaining human-sized Squad and Shrike units (Still the Shrike Trooper, if i'm not mistaken for human-sized Shrike units).

As for the others, That might take awhile until Playable Aliens can be figured out with how to use the various Sectoid, Muton and Viper models from CS instead of the stock ones
