Description
Back at it again with another texture mod, this time inspired by Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville's artstyle. I liked the cartoony art in that game, and the series is a bit nostalgic for me as it started back in the days of flash games. Plus, as a more lighthearted go at the zombie genre it helps to stand out amongst the depressing end-of-days blur that is the zombie genre most of the time. Don't get me wrong - I love zombies, but sometimes a little change and simplicity is nice. I thought the art style Rebuild brings to the table would contrast nicely against the gravity of Project Zomboid's gameplay and I wanted to get away from the more complex and serious media I had been making reskin mods from so far - so I made this mod.

Thanks to the original creators of the Rebuild series (the newest instalment of which you can find on steam!) for the inspiration for this new texture mod, and some of the art on the mod page from the game.

btw on the 5th image what zombie is that from? i do know its like the generic zombie from animated shows/cartoons from the late 2000s to early 2010s that i may or may not know of (examples of one i know: The "DUDE of the living dead" episode from the show 6Teen or the old youtube series "Living with Steve" and the old youtube video "Fun Dead" by eddsworld)

If there was an option or separate mod that made zombies all bald, you could recreate the look of the PZ tech demo zombies

Glad you think so, I wanted to get away from the super serious scary texture mods I'd been doing recently and wanted to get back to basics and do something just for a bit of fun (not that I didn't find making the others fun, but it's a nice change of pace).

It's the NYPD police retexture/remodel mod available on the workshop. It replaces the normal state trooper outfit and hat, as well as the police vest.

Where did you get that darn police hat in the 4th picture? I always wanted one and I think I'm subbed to all clothes mods, but I cannot find it
