RPE Gardening adds new items for your gardening pleasure.

New Crops:
- Blackberry, Chamomile, Garlic, Grapes, Mint, Onion, Peppers, Raspberry, Rosemary, Rice, Strawberry, Sugar cane, Thyme, Turmeric, Vanilla, Wheat.
New Fruit Trees:
- Apple, Banana, Cherry, Cocoa, Coconut, Lime, Maple, Olive, Pumpkin patch, Sap tree, Tree Bee Hive.
All above crops and fruits have individual characteristics for use in Custom Recipes. None have the same stat adds or minuses for the custom recipes.
New Dirt Crop Plots:
- You no longer need those unsightly wood borders on your crop plots, these are just a plot of dirt.
Grow Lights:
- These lights will give your crops full greenhouse effect even in an fully enclosed building.
- No glass required.
- They do however need electricity to work. They can be power by a wired generator but show no wires, or a tek generator or by batteries.
- The power requirement can be disabled via INI setting.
Hanging plant:
- Provides full greenhouse effect in a range.
- Requires fertilizer and water just like a crop plot to provide the greenhouse effect.
Greenhouse Sticks:
- Provides full greenhouse effect in a range.
- Requires crop plot to have access to the sky. (cannot have structures above plot)
Water Bucket:
- An infinite source of water and has 4 pipe connections.
Light Control Panel:
- This can control all the Grow lights within range. It can turn them all on or off and change the brightness as well.

This mod will no longer be maintained as my dev kit files have been corrupted and so it can no longer be updated. It does however still work so is safe to use. It would take a complete rebuild of the mod and with it's small user base it is not worth it to me to do. Sorry. Eddy

All items in this mod (except Greenhouse Lights) can also be found in my R.P. EDDitions mod. It contains many more items.
This mod is not compatible with my R.P. EDDitions
The best recommendation is to use RPE combined with Eddy's Lighting mod and enable the greenhouse effect on the lights with an INI setting.

@Tyrian I hope you found your answer by now, but if you haven't, I'll tell you what you're missing: ARK has a function where you can throw any number of ingredients into a Cooking Pot along with a Note to make a custom food recipe. Each ingredient adds a different value to the recipe you end up creating. I believe the number of points put into Crafting Skill also affects the quality of the recipe, though I'm not 100% on that. The custom recipe mechanic is vanilla; what this mod does is add more options to the process.

How can I see what these "Custom recipes" are because as it stands, there's literally nothing saying they actually do anything other that "All above crops and fruits have individual characteristics for use in Custom Recipes. None have the same stat adds or minuses for the custom recipes."

I have read that everything from this mod is in your big RPEdditions Mod. Is that true or would I be missing something if I didn't use both?

Can't make the compost bin since there is no corresponding engrams to learn. Tested by enabling all engrams per each level in the game.ini bAutoUnlockAllEngrams=True

What map are you using? I know the the Ark Genesis 2 update has messed a lot of stuff up and I might not be able to fix it till I get an update to the dev kit.

They're your crops in vanilla plots.
