Description
This map was ported from Black Mesa and is property of Crowbar Collective

-IMPORTANT-
I really dislike workshop listings with additional downloads, but the workshop refuses to upload the dependencies for this map correctly so this is the only way for me to implement a fix. In order for this map to function correctly you need to have the Xen materials folder linked below placed into your usermod or workshop folder, otherwise the majority of the map will appear as a wireframe.

-Subscribe to this map via the workshop as normal.
-Download the folder 'Xen' via the dropbox link above and place it into:
C:\steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\materials
(This may be your D: drive depending on where you have installed SFM, if there is no folder labled 'materials' simply create one.)
-After that the map should run as normal.

Now back to your regularly scheduled description.
I recommend DISABLING 'other entities' by right clicking on your viewport, selecting 'Draw Game Entities' and making sure 'Other entities' is NOT checked. The rock spires that typically appear in this map have decided to be errors, but fear not! I have ported them here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2384295236

I have brightened most of the light sources and added additional lights however the map is still very dark! If you need to relight the scene and don't want to use a hundred different light sources consider following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY8Bkn8Zng4

I have been able to port some of the animated props from this level. This includes the rock formations, cyclones and floating rocks from the death sequence, as well as the Black Mesa room dioramas and those are available in a collection here along with the Nihilanth character model: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2384271665

Adding this here for those with the question "Why is there an additional download!?"
To get into specifics, The vmt files that are dependencies for this map call upon additional vmt files in order to function properly. Specifically for 2 and 4 way blends. But the workshop uploader does not recognise this, and only provides the first vmt files. Leaving you with large untextured areas and a big pile of errors in the console. The only way for me to resolve this and keep the map available here for those who would like it is to provide those missing materials through an additional download. I apologise for the inconvenience and I realise it isn't ideal, but I hope those with enough patience get a lot out of this map. Xen maps are notoriously painful to port...it's like they're sentient...and malicious. But none the less, I hope you enjoy!

doesn't even have to be a playable section, just something that fits the vibe I'm looking for

i have an issue, i have installed both rock packs and the materials, even imported them both on usermod and wrokshop, but the map doesn't seem to be ficed, since i still see errors and wireframe textures :(

i would very much like to have anomalous materials in sfm but i am not skilled enough to do anything with hammer. if i was i would have it but i guess you're the only one that can/would do it
