Description
This mod replaces the Soundtrack and menu music with the ones from Rome Total War and its expansions as requested by MEANMAORIMEAN and Liberty Gamer.

For the updated content changes, take a look at the change notes. :)

-------------------------------------

If you want to customize your soundtrack, as you might have done with textures, here you get how the soundtrack works:

The game uses the folder Game\sound\music.

There it searches for the file xmusic1.mp3

If a mp3 ends, and there is a file with actual number + 1 like xmusic2.mp3 after playing xmusic1.mp3, than that one will be played next.

If there is no further file, or there is a gap between the actual files number and the next one, like xmusic1, xmusic2 and xmusic4, than it restarts with the first file.

Until now I don't know if there is a max number of soundtrack files that are used.

-------------------------------------

All my soundtracks will contain every single title in a seperate mp3 file, so you can easily delete or change a specific one, or change their order.

Excellent! A pleasant addition to the game. Played alot of AoE2 back on disc in the day and the original music got very tiring after restarting with AoE2HD. Thx for the mod

AoE isn't able to uninstall mods.

You can 'missuse' the verification functionality (which actually is what HiddenPath suggested, unsubscribing does not uninstall anything on it's own), but this only helps with files belonging to the original game installation. Additional files (and AoE is meant to be modded by adding new files in most cases) have to be deleted manually.

In case of soundtracks this means you have to open the AoE\sound\music folder and delete every file with a number higher than 20 before verifying your game cache.

The only solution to avoid this for now is to use my mod manager. Mods that have been installed using it, can be uninstalled with just one click. :)

I have a problem with the music. Although I unsubscribe from the mod,the music of Rome still sounds in the game.
