Description
I made a station platform and main building similar to this three to five years ago. It was okay and thanks to those who subscribed to it but it was made with a combination of software that was less than ideal. I've been intending to remake it ever since. So, here it is. It's very much inspired by Helsinki Station but not a true representation of it by any means.
It's working as intended with both local and intercity trains using it.
In the arches are shop fronts, they are not functional. I suggest using "commercial block services" by "Naylin" and use "move it" to place them.
As a rule I don't include props in my asset creations, I leave that to the user. You can use "prop and tree anarchy" by "Bloody Penguin" to place lighting, benches, aircon etc.
No suggested mods are essential ( except "Mass Transit" ) but if you do use them it's at your own risk. Having said that they all seem to be as sound as a pound.

@TheLegend27. Some people have issues with it but they all vary. Some people have no problems at all. It is very difficult to pin down individual problems. If CS2 turns out to be a bore I may try to sort it out. Or if CS2 is a winner I will remake the station for it. Make sure you have ample road and pedestrian access to it and places for people to actually go. Make sure there are no breaks in the tracks across your map. Thank you for subscribing.

I have an issue with my station not working as a stop; people get off but no one gets on, despite it being in the centre of my city. I've placed it in other locations with the same result. Is this a recurring issue?

@veladam01. I wonder why some subscribers have issues and others don't. I don't know why but the glass also interferes with placing props and lighting in the editor which is one reason I don't include any. As a point of interest the spawn points are placed automatically with "advanced building editor" (Bloody Penguin) rather than manually. I've always found pink pathing a bit hit or miss and erratic. It would be handy to find a tutorial on them. Yes I would like to see your version, thanks.

@Yamastha thanks for writing back. actually i took a look at the asset in asset editor
what actually causes the infinite train spawn issue is the glass of the main hall that is a sub building and probably interferes with the tracks and the train spawning. probably a spawn point that was not deleted by accident (need to look more into this to confirm). if the hall / glass is not present, the asset functions with no issues.
the cims wandering around the station and crossing across the tracks is just because wrongly set-up pedestrian connections (aka the pink paths).
I have managed to create a fixed version of the asset where everything is working just fine, i can send it to you if you want to look at it

hello all. anyone having issue with the infinite train spawn, just use Move it, hold ALT to select station tracks in the asset, bend them a bit then undo it, and it will be fixed. not sure if it works if you do it all at once or must be done separatedly to every track, but if you do this, the station will work with no issues

Thanks a lot mate! Looking for a 5th station for a long time! Im using Kansas City Union Station (south), New York Pennsylvania Station (west), Flinders Street Station (east) and Gare d'Orsay (center)! Now yours will be north! :steamthumbsup:
