Description
An adventurer reincarnated from an ancient icon that was lost in the Underwhere, Amber is ready for adventure! The sprites were made by yours truly.

Currently, he is Sandbert like as I don't know how to code too well, but I plan to make a full move set that makes Amber play like Mario (being a Mario like character) with a unique stage control gimmick of throwing out timed bombs that bounce along the stage before exploding.

Here's the Planned Full Move set (Updated as of 8/13/2021):
Jab: Mario Jab
F-Tilt: Mario F-Tilt
U-Tilt: Mario U-Tilt
D-Tilt: Roll
Dash Attack: Mario Dash Attack
N-Air: Mario N-Air
F-Air: Mario F-Air
B-Air: Mario B-Air
U-Air: Mario U-Air
D-Air: Mario Spin Jump similar to Shovel Knight's D-Air.
F-Strong: Hammer
U-Strong: Mario U-Smash
D-Strong: Mario D-Smash
N-Special: Gem Orb: Mario Fireball
S-Special: Gem Bomb: Throws a bomb that bounces on the ground before exploding after a few seconds. Can be attacked like a soccer ball making for crazy kill setups. Based on the Ittle Dew's bomb from Slap City.
U-Special: Cape Glide: A cape jump before going into a glide that allow's Amber to glide similar to the Cape Glide from Super Mario World. Keep holding down for a dive bomb that creates a landing hit box.
D-Special: Ground Pound: Leap up into the air to pulverize the enemy with your posterior. Can be jump canceled after the flip which can be used as a third jump. The higher you fall from, the more damage you deal.

Dedede Arena supported (Other Supports planned but put on hold)

Planned Abyss Runes:
Aura Boost: Adds a super meter that powers Specials at the cost of 25% of the meter. Gem Orbs get larger, travels slower, but can trap your opponents for a set up just like Mario's Smash 4 Fire Orbs (Hold the Special Button down). Gem Bomb will have a much longer fuse and explode on contact with the enemy. (Hold the Special Button down). Cape Glide gains a hit of armor, and when hit, Amber slowly spin downwards with a constant hit box around his whole body similar to getting hit while cape gliding in Super Mario World (Hold the Special Button before getting hit). And Ground Pound gets faster and is used for a suicide spike (Press the Special Button after the flip).
Triple Jump: Jump three times like a Mario Triple jump for the second and third jumps to go higher.
Super Jump Punch: U-Strong is now a Super Jump Punch that can combo at low percents.
Spin Stomp: D-Air can now spike.
Fast Orb: Gem Orb is a smaller projectile that fires straight and is faster. If Aura Boost is on, Holding Special will fire a Stun Orb that puts stuns the opponent in place for a second.
Bob the Bomb: Replaces Gem Bomb for placing down a Bomb enemy that walks around like a Bowser Jr. Mecha Koopa before exploding after a while or exploding on contact with the enemy. If Aura Boost is on, then holding the Special Button makes Bob will just follow the closest opponent.
Space Jump: Replaces Cape Glide for a Super Mario Galaxy spin move. while on the ground, you don't jump, but you have a strong hit box. If Aura Boost is on, then holding the Special Button while Airborne will spawn a cloud below him.
Amber Tornado: Replaces Ground Pound for the Classic Mario Tornado Move. If Aura Boost is on, then holding the Special Button before the attack ends, it gains a finisher that sends the enemy flying.

Those are some of the prime runes, I'm not sure about the other runes though.

Again, I know nothing about coding but I do have the Sprites available, so if you have any advice you want to give me about how to code, or if you want to collaborate on me finishing this character, then be sure to leave a comment letting me know what to do. I really appreciate positive feedback and support and hope that this character can become a great character. Currently, I'm in college, so you won't hear much from me unless I have free time on my hands whenever I decide to look. I hope so, too. I just don't know how to code his move set. If you have any advice for character creation, or if there's someway you can help me out, please let me know. I might be going into college soon, so I might not be able to work on this character for a long while. I'm a busy guy.

Hey I noticed this character and I wanted to ask, have you been able to get some work done for this character? He looks neat and I'd like to see him be completed one day
