In 1979, the New Jewel Movement launched a successful revolution in the carribean island of Grenada. Led by the popular leader Maurice Bishop, the movement quickly aligned the island with Cuba, and undertook several major construction projects to improve the island, and move away from dependence on foreign capital.

Unfortunately, in 1983 Bishop was overthrown in a military coup, providing an opening for a full-scale U.S. invasion, which deposed the New Jewel Movement entirely.

This map puts you in the shoes of the New Jewel leaders in the immediate aftermath of the revolution. Can you achieve what they couldn't?

You must install the required mod for this map to work, as well as the included texture packs. Without them the island will look very ugly!

Roleplaying Tips,
-Start in 1980, or edit your save to 1979.
-Rely exclusively on tourism, agriculture, and food/alcohol manufacturing. Some historically accurate factories are already in-place.
-Build a huge airport at Pointe Salinas, with a runway big enough for the largest jets.
-Rely on diesel generators for all of your electricity.
-Buld up your tourism industry in the South West, and your agriculture in the North East.

Beware that this is a hard map to play!
-Grenada has never had ANY mineral resources whatsoever.
-All trade must be conducted by air and sea, thus there are no border crossings.
