Description
An autonomous drone that will automatically collect Stars for you, including those at the end of a checkpoint path.

It can also be controlled manually using the same controls as the Micro DeathStar.

The drone AI can:
  • Rotate itself to face the closest Star.
  • Move in the direction of the closes Star.
  • Keep a straight trajectory.
  • Slow down in certain conditions for more precise movements.
  • Work both with and without gravity.
  • Work underwater (but very slowly).

The drone AI cannot:
  • Detect terrain or obstacles (switch to manual mode if you end up stuck).
  • Accelerate fast enough to complete some of the timed checkpoint paths.
  • Work properly after a too violent crash.

AI modes description:
  • Zero-G mode: When enabled, deactivates the upward thrust assist (only useful in maps with gravity), also up/down angle will be used in the AI decisions (only left/right is used by default).
  • Manual mode: When enabled, disable the AI completely and gives you full control on the drone.
  • Forward angle Auto-Brake: When enabled, the drone will brake automatically when the angle between the front of the drone and the target is greater than the Auto-Brake Angle.
  • Velocity angle Auto-Brake: When enabled, the drone will brake automatically when the angle between the velocity of the drone and the target is greater than the Auto-Brake Angle.
  • Auto-Brake Angle: This let you define which angle you want for the previous 2 behaviors.
  • Near Target Auto-Brake: When enabled, the drone will brake automatically when it is approaching the target.
  • Full brake mode: When enabled, the drone will actually use brakes (by default it will only stop accelerating when using auto-brake). This allows for more slower and more precise movements, but can cause it to miss the target on maps with gravitybecause using brakes also makes it lose altitude.

Note: If several modes are active at the same time, they will all apply simultaneously (except for manual mode which overrides everything obviously).
