Description
Tier 4 Carrier CV

**Updated 3/15/2023**
**Updated 3/21/2023**

The Freedom is the best ship I've ever made. In my mind, anyway. It's been updated over the years (detailed below) but it's still the first non-starter CV I build in my playthroughs primarily because it can carry a compliment of other purpose specific vehicles.
Designed to be a carrier, I scrapped the project after I decided I didn't like the direction it was going, and created another one from scratch. The same thing happened, and I returned to the original and just started deleting. Some 50 hours of build later I spawned it in my game and began raiding from it.
After playing with it for some time I came back and started deleting and rebuilding again, and what I have now is a solid mobile space base.

It's a carrier first and foremost. This ship is nothing without a compliment of tasked ships on board.
There is enough room on board this ship to dock and transport 9 SVs, 2 CVs, and an array of other vehicles on the top landing strips.
Most of the following is outdated, but corrections have been added below.

12 Missile Turrets
1 Plasma Turret
4 Laser Turrets
4 Artillery Turrets
Full Medical Suite
Kitchen
2 Toilets
2 Showers
2 Advanced Constructors
Warp Drive
Gravity Generator
Ridiculous amounts of storage
3 Wi-Fi nodes
2 320k ammo storage units
5 320k containers
1 320k mining storage
Special designed rear landing pad made specifically to hold my Scarab Battle Jitney (heavy combat CV)
2 decoy generators, one in each of the forks port and starboard
Crew Quarters
Officer Quarters
Pilot Quarters
Captain's Quarters
Internal pilot seat
Tower Bridge pilot seat
Bridge Fridge/Health/Oxygen
Cloning Facility
13 Grow Plots
and a healthy chunk of space to add or remove as one may see fit.

It has landing gear and a bottom ramp for the player model, but good luck finding a place to park it.
The Freedom is designed to stay in space, while you take your gear down to the planet, and accomplish your goals.

**Updates**
The Freedom has been my main carrier in this game for over 4 years now!
I finally decided to give it some much needed love and tweaks.
1.) Middle Landing Gear sets have been removed.
2.) Front Landing Gear added to prevent CV from falling forward when loaded with my other various ship compliment. (copied from my TX-Leviathan Super Carrier)
3.) Position in front of bridge to land my TX-Dark Cloud base buster CV.
4.) Block design on outer front strakes updated to be more smooth and aesthetically pleasing.
5.) Rear platform landing for the TX-Scarab Battle Jitney extended to fit landing gear properly.
6.) Staircase added for easier entrance/exit of TX-Scarab Battle Jitney in higher gravity environments.
7.) Bottom rear "support" beams adjusted to not disrupt jet wash on upthrust engines.
8.) Added stairs to make it easier to get in and out of my TX-Dark Cloud on higher gravity environments.
9.) Added front door to bridge "neck" to get to the TX-Dark Cloud in dock.
10.) Fixed some long over due texturing issues to random blocks that were hard to notice, but irritated me that they were unpainted.
11.) Organized tech devices.
12.) Replaced front antenna for Missile Launchers.
13.) Added Hydroponics on Port Side to match Starboard Side.
14.) Added helper rockets to both port and starboard strakes to aid in turning.
15.) Added mechanic running scripts to port side runway.
16.) Made crew quarters feel more alive with Crew.
17.) MAJOR DESIGN CHANGE - Added HV pads to each side on the rear with motion sensing ramps. Specifically designed to hold the TX-Scropion and my Boomshot HV tanks. There is also room on said pads for smaller HV's as well such as my TX-Sawzall - harvester.
