UI Display Toggle (v.48)

Description
Provides a configurable keyboard shortcut to show and hide UI elements.

MODIFIES: the base files for each class.
REQUIRES: there are requirements for third party classes to work with this mod. I've made this as easy as possible. see documentation in the discussion section

This works on the same elements that HIDEUI/HUD by chewtoy does (except the generic player charge bar), but creates full UI logic to toggle everything independently of the quest logic, which his version was attaching to. It also has the advantage of being a 1-button toggle, and the button is configurable by the user.

@Ewancoder the only difference between my mod and chewtoy's is that mine creates a new keybind and assigns it to the function. I didnt notice potions not working .. not that I remember-- but in any case it has been far too long since I played last for me to dive back into the code and try to improve it. Feel free to adopt the project yourself if you like.

BTW, I'm using nicehud with your mod to see how much HP I have. It's perfect to play the game this way, but because of keybindings which don't work I can't do so.

Hi. When UI elements are hidden, not one quick keybind is works. For example, I cannot use health potions (both 1 or Z doesn't work). But I want to play the game without UI elements, is it possible to fix?

I had a fresh install with no mods prior to trying either of these. Was hoping one would work but it doesn't look like the mods are being installed at all there is nothing in my PAK folder. Is there anywhere I can download this for a manual install?

m-a-s it works. load it early, because apparently you have another mod that conflicts with it. if you have chewtoy's, and you dont mind the key mapping he wrote, then don't use mine. If you want mine instead, uninstall his, move mine up high in the load order, adn try again. good luck.

Same thing as HIDEUI/HUD by chewtoy: doesn't do anything. I have no 'UI Display Toggle' in my options.

Hey roberto, I really like your mods. I'm wondering if you'd be interested in helping me with a few things regarding Torchlight II Essentials. There's a few little improvements I'd like to make to the HUD, but I'm a complete dipshit when it comes to GUTS and modding in general, I could really use your expertise.

chewtoy — you might consider adding chat window to yours, I added it to mine when I found I could get it to appear and then it wouldn't go away during the screenshots. It fades after a minute but with screenshots you want them right away.

hey Chewtoy, thanks for the heads up. I've fixed that, it was silly of me not to forcibly ensure the HUD and the charge bar were in synch. Now they are.

It is different from yours though. Mine doesn't use keys reserved for combat, and only needs one key!
