NG Logging Camp Remake

Beskrivelse
First, huge thanks to KingNathantheIII for giving permission to remake his Narrow Gauge Logging Camp layout for the Generated Terrain Guide. Since I really wanted to highlight what generated terrain could look like in game I continued to detail it with some custom models.

Link to Generated Terrain Guide, the driving purpose for this layout: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2376794936

Style wise I was aiming for a pleasing blend of textured and painted models. I tried to make as many models paintable as possible so others can use them in game, but due to the Alpha Cutout Shader & geometry issues the nature pack can't be paintable.

This is my first layout that utilizes both a large scale only, the cabin scene, and a miniature only skybox, the background hills. In the future I can get the skybox to line up to the terrain, but this time I would have had to redo almost everything so there is a bit of a cliff on the edges in mini mode.

The "Stylized Nature Pack" is a set of models I've had my eye on for a while, please go check it out in the Workshop. The original creator did a great job on limiting vert count, and I put together very simple grass models, all utilizing the Alpha Cutout Shader. This is what's causing the graphic glitch when you're using Many Lights. Huge thanks to Gauge for including this shader and making this possible! The cabins & houses are all paintable and taken from cgtrader, except for the cabin interior which I created. Link to Cabins & Houses: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2394174503

There is a plethora of random details I ported into game, and everything but the rug is paintable. Check out all 15 models here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2394175913

The water tower & water storage tank are the textured version, but there is also a paintable version available here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2394179585

Finally, thanks to microcosmologist for all his help and advice through this whole process. Also you should know he'd suggest you turn off all shadows for this layout, as there is less graphic issue with the Stylized Nature Pack Alpha Cutout models.

Edit: The graphics glitch doesn't exist anymore I think, as the Lighting menu changed since I took the screenshot and that option no longer exists.

Actually I modeled that myself. Grabbed a log texture and a plank texture I really liked. Created the fireplace. Cut out some windows and a door. Took a screenshot of approximately of what the viewer would see from that cabin that's placed in the level to create what's outside of the two windows, spaced back to give it some depth and trick your brain a bit. The small details around the cabin are in the detail pack linked above. Set all of the above to Large Scale Only when you place it and voila!
