Improved Graphics (colonel/DLC edition)

Description


This mod is made to improve the graphics of the game, without lowering its performance or altering the checksum.
The better graphics currently include:
-tile borders
-darkblue water (enable 'high-quality-pixel-shaders' and 'reflections')
-white mapfont
-better frontlines
-less Snow (terrain underneath visible again)
-more pleasant textures on 'low quality'
-non-black river banks

The probably most prominent feature of the mod are the UPSCALED TANK MODELS. Make sure to use the version of the mod that matches your version of the game / owned DLCs.


Roadmap:
-add more versions of the mod (just upscaled models, just graphical changes)
-upscale the amphibious tank models
-upscale tank models of minor nations
-upsacle tank-variant models from the "Armor-Pack" DLCs
-upscale motorized/mechanised models
-edit naval- and airbase icons
-transparent paratrooper orders
-...

Tank varriants such as Elefant and sturmtiger (goes for all tank varriants for all countries) are extremely small compared to the larger size main tank model

When zoomed in on a russian frontline that uses tanks (i think its Light tanks specifically) there is a random crash when a certain action happens, but i was never able to figure out which action that was. It MAY be an incompatibility issue with

but i don't see why that would be, since i am fairly certain i have experienced the crash before that mod was added to my modlist. It only became a big issue once one of my group of friends decided to play Russia with Mobile Doctrine. Again, our friend who was using the cadet version was unaffected.

The crashes were only beginning to happen once a war was ongoing, so i think it may be one of the animations not agreeing fully with the mod.
