Seattle - Feb 2021

Description
- 330K
- 85+ bus lines
- Idk how many metro lines - actually
- Integrated passenger/cargo network
- Fully integrated raw materials to special good economy (WIP)
- 6 underground + 3 ground level highways
- Countless un-recreatable assets using now patched glitches
- And so much more!

I've worked on this city for the past couple years on and off. The impetus for having a fully integrated passenger/cargo rail network stems from a strange strong desire (*at the time*) to prove some redditor wrong, because he was claimed it was impossible to have a big fully-integrated city with a combined passenger/cargo rail network. Which brings me to my other objective, which was to create a 200,000+ person city that was legitimately, you know, an actual city that is connected throughout by a street grid pattern. As for the (underground) highways. I originally set out attempting to stay true to the actual layout of Seattle, at least when it came to highways specifically. Meaning for some reason, no new above ground highways. This eventually evolved into an underground network of high off-ramps. Overtime this grew into an ever growing underground spaghetti network of highway off-ramps. Soon parts were overloaded and needed to be upgraded to highways themselves. Which inevitably led to a point where it was only logical to admit defeat and make the network as close to a proper highway as possible. Following this admission of defeat, I decided might as well dive in and there are now 2.5/3 fully underground highways crisscrossing the city.Be careful with the rail lines!! It was so bad I had to use mods to edit the lines outside of the city limits so they could handle the amount of rail traffic.Build priorities:Minimize personal car tripsEmphasis on cycling and public transportFully integrated economy (raw materials>manufacturing>retail + tourist for customers)Producing as many raw materials, and retailing and tourism services in Seattle as much as possible.
