Issues

Bays cannot be closed due to how the external pylons are added
External pylons cannot be damaged when helicopter gets damaged, this cannot be fixed I'm sure

New stub-winged Blackfoot in 2.20 is technically speaking more capable (as the pylons can now be changed), but it lacks this top radar that adds this advanced vibe...

@Ace, I've tried to edit the p3d file, managed to grab the radar model and add it to the classic blackfoot model, it partially work, but then in game the model is bugged : windows are opaque from inside, a logo appears on the side, and I can't change the texture.

@Largo, if you still want the files, there's a Github for this. If the 3D stuff is there, you'll be able to use it. It's under APL-SA. You have to share whatever you change.

Hello
Il it possible to have a version with the radar dome but wuthout the stub wings ? Or would you accept to provide such 3d model (for personal use only) ?

Radar detection should not be changed to more than 8 kilometers. This is ArmA, not DCS. Using real world radar values ends up covering the whole map and quickly stops being fun or balanced. See also what happens when Pook aircraft go against vanilla.

This is just an upgrade of the vanilla AH-99. Don't muck with the radar. Inherit the values from vanilla. Don't like it? Make a mod to change vanilla.

Mod is fine as is. More pylon options would be sweet but it's still awesome as is.

Back in the day Firewill did similar mods for the Blackfoot and the Ghost Hawk, and got around the door issue.

I don't know if they still have those files, but if you can find the mod (Firewill discontinued it) it might help solve some of the issues you're having.
