WHAT IS THIS MOD?

A new Governor Policy for converting and assimilating pops at the same time, by mixing Religious Conversion and Cultural Assimilation into one.


HOW IT WORKS

If Religious Conversion policy individually increases the conversion speed by +3.00 and Cultural Assimilation policy individually increases the assimilation speed by +1.00, this new policy will increase both conversion and assimilation speed, respectively, by +1.50 and +0.50.


WHY HALF? DOES IT MEAN IT IS WORSE THAN THE OTHERS?

Not really. Because it does the job of two policies at the same time, it gives half the monthly bonus, maintaining game balance.

Great mod. But like someone else said "at half the speed, means minimal change" It's very slow.

great mod with good balance, now i dont have to micro manage the governor policies as much, stacks great with a mod that stops the AI changing your governor policies when you have to appoint a new governor

Could you make a version that doesn't alter the numbers? I feel like there are many people who don't really want balancing.

very good mod and idea! that should be base game.
but i would improve the description.
something like:
This mod adds a new policy with both cultural and religious conversion but at half the speed of the other two policies. That means minimal change to vanilla balance.

so does this mod increase the inherent natural conversion/assimilation rate? or is it an entirely new policy that does both, just at half speed of the dedicated policies?

@Skragglenuts How so? What I mean is that It increases the speed of conversion/assimilation compared to no policy at all, but it's half the efficiency of policies such as Religious Conversion and Cultural Assimilation, so it's not cheating.

Note that this policy will only be useful when you want to convert culture and religion at the same time, but it would take the same time as if you did both individually. It would be wasted on pops of same religion but different culture, in this case you should just pick Cultural Assimilation.

The idea is that the governor would be dividing his attention/resources between these two tasks.
