ZE True Wind Data

Description
A microcontroller indicating the true wind data from the sensors of a moving vehicle, regardless of the vehicle speed and moving direction.
Place the physics sensor as close as possible to the wind sensor. Wind sensor can be installed upside down, but you should mirror it vertically instead or rotating it.
  • Shows true wind direction, speed, and relative bearing to the vehicle heading or movement vector.
  • Range of the angles can be set to -180 ... 180 or 0 ... 360 degrees.
  • Direction can be set either upwind or downwind.

Very kind of you Sir, thank you!

Fixed the angle ranges, also all bearings now are clockwise positive.

Well if that is the case I very much appreciate you taking a look at it.
Like all your builds and controllers they are truly 'top shelf' ;)
Thanks again, for all your help, understanding, and patience!

No, there is definitely a bug. The output for wind direction changes inconstantly when you change the wind direction in game, even on -180...180 range.

Thanks for the reply Sir,
To be fair, I'm not certain something is wrong (it might well be on my end).
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?
Uran_Wind  [author] 19 Sep, 2024 @ 9:29am
Ok, will fix it.

Great controller, but I'm not entirely sure the 'range of angles' option works correctly.
It seems to display a northerly wind direction when the wind is southerly if the 0-360 option is used.
Thanks for your help!

Yep, my bad, fixed.

that is something i wasnt able to do right. take my points
(juts a little info: you switched true wind speed and true wind direction output, so if i connect true wind speed, i get the direction)

This is awesome work
