Large(ish) zoo inspired by the animals and architecture of India.

3 themed areas:

Rajasthan

Inspired by Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur
Camel, Blackbuck (represented by Gemsbok), Striped Hyena (Spotted Hyena) Water Buffalo, Indian Elephant

Himachal Pradesh (North India)

Inspired by Manali, McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala and Shimla
Red Panda, Himalayan Brown Bear, Indian Wolf (Timber Wolf), Snow Leopard

Tamil Nadu & Kerela

This one is generally inspired by the jungle in these areas, but the buildings are a bit more random. The Lotus temple is in Delhi and other than Rudyard Kipling's sort of house (there is a sign explaining..) and a rice boat, it's all a bit made up. The templey buildings are inspired by some found in Khajuraho which is much further north.

Panther (pretend it's the leopard one), Leopard (jaguar) Bengal Tiger, Flamingo (again.. there is also a flamingo habitat near the entrance) and creepy crawlies.

and then in the middle is the Taj Mahal, which alone took 12 hours to build. This zoo has taken over a year and has been a labour of love. I spent two months in India in 2009 and all the places mentioned above I visited. As soon as Planet Zoo came out I knew I had to make an Indian themed zoo... it's not perfect and it's a but rough around the edges but I have finally got the point where I can say, "that'll do."
