A long way from Variable Tech's initial successes with the X2-Flareburst, the X8-Mercurion is a step towards utilizing the same flashburn technology for a specialized line of submachineguns instead. It fires fast bursts of superheated plasma with remarkable speed, precision, and power that's sure to melt away the opposition.

Author's Note:
Unfortunately, flame projectiles from modded weaps are still bugged and will only show if you have a different non-mod flame weapon in your inventory; so the gun is set to fire plasma projectiles atm. ,_,
This is also why it's set up to use Light ammo instead, unlike other flame weapons.
