Automobili Amos - Futurista

The second of my rally uploads, and the second reborn Lancia (what a coincidence!), this, like the new Stratos, is a modern take on an old, but fun, classic rally car.

It all started when Italian millionare Eugenio Amos wondered; What would the Delta Integrale be like today? And then he stopped wondering, and decided to find out.

This is what he came up with. A classic rally beast turned into a lighter-than-air rallycross annihilator.

Amos took an old Delta Integrale, made it's body out of carbon fibre and aluminium, 330 horsepower, 2 doors instead of 4, and a revitalised interior bring some serious looks to the party.

With all that aluminium and carbon fibre, you'd think this would be light.

And you're not wrong.

It's engine's had an upgrade, too; with an uprated intercooler, a new intake system, a new exhaust system, and, thankfully, a new engine loom to eradicate the trademark Lancia wiring gremlins, putting the power output to 330bhp, more than almost every hot hatch out there today.

I am quite proud of myself with these two reborn rally legends, and hope that the 50th upload special will thrill all of you.
