Small Dot Cursor

Description
Updated for Build 41.54!

Attention
This mod does nothing! You will need to manually move the file to your Project Zomboid Directory.

Features
This mod changes the default mouse cursor in game. I have included a Green, Red and Blue mouse cursor. Simply choose which one you want, rename the file and overwrite the original.



Note
The pictures above do not fully show the proper color of the mod. Must be my screen capture software. The True colors are: Green 0, 255 ,0 Red 255, 0, 0 and Blue 0, 0, 255. Also you may have some trouble with losing the location of the cursor in the video. While playing I did not have that problem.

How to install:
Step 1
Subscribe then navigate to the mod install directory
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2413030042
be sure to include the hard drive location ie; C:

"108600" is Project Zomboid's App ID
"2413030042" is this mod's ID


The files are located in the \media\ui folder.

Step 2
Select what color you like and rename that file the following:
cursor_white.png

Step 3
Navigate to the Project Zomboid Directory and drop the file into \media\ui

\Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\ui

Step 4
Select yes to overwrite.

To uninstall
grab the backup copy I have included in the mod. The file name is

"cursor_whiteBACKUP.png"

simply rename it

"cursor_white.png"

and drag it into the \media\ui folder in the Project Zomboid Directory.

Getting a target cursor while aiming would be out of the scope of my abilities in modding. I am not even sure if that is possible. I have been using this mod since I released it and love it. I have not had any trouble with it either. I guess this works for some people and doesn't work so well with others. I'll see what I can do about adding other cursors that are small, but easier to see.

It works, but I find it very hard to get used to.. its so small that when trying to click on anything in the UI, I get lost and takes a few seconds to find where the damn mouse actually is lmfao .. If you could figure out how to just put a red dot on the Aim stick thingy,(while aiming of course) but then have it switch back to the hand when not aiming??? is that possible? other wise good idea tho.
