'NAUTILUS 900' Deep Sea Submarine'

Description

The Nautilus 900 is a deep sea exploration and utility vehicle designed for MrNJ's Community challenge Spring 2021.



Technical Specifications

  • Large battery bank for extended operations and transit to location.
  • Full 6 degrees of freedom stabilistation and control.
  • Ballast and vertical controls for precise depth control.
  • Multiple external cameras
  • 2D Velocity doppler display.
  • Advanced glass cockpit.



Operation

  1. Turn on all the CB's on the left side of the cabin
  2. Turn on Systems on the right control panel.
  3. Set Ballasts to sink mode by using the switch on the right Control panel.
  4. Use 1 and 2 to select a depth for the sub to dive to.
  5. Use WASD for back for and strafe control, arrow keys for yaw.
  6. Keys 3,4,5,6 will control the arms.

Let me know if there are any issues, worked on my PC, but there is a lot of logic here...
All MC are of my own design, please do no redistribute without permission.

Very nice sub, easy to drive and to transport. Suggestion to add a small seat at the back because it is difficult to get past the pilot seat when you want to exit. Also protect the upper propellers (with a pipe bareer for example) near the door, they are dangerous for the pilot when exiting the sub. Great job anyway.
