Just small things to add here, but it is all my personal preference.
Remember wood does not regrow, so you probably want to make the forest in the corner a bit more dense (stacking at the same place works fine). And you probably want to give the player a bit more space for traps in front of the castle. And if you dont like factory castles in corners, dont let the faction reach the eend of the map and place it a bit more in mid direction. The player have to make a full castle with four walls to defend themselfs.
I assume that you didn't fill all the neutral fields with "black"-faction but let it stay "red" for player one and decided to make 4 different colored faction-fields in each corner. The map editor "thinks" now, that you made a mission and doesn't need a castle to manage. To fix it fast you need to make all the red fields in the editor black, that means the last color in faction-thingy in editor, also refered to as neutral and recolor one corner faction into red, also known as first player. The host is than visible in selfmade games and you can play normally.
Remember to put the right spawnpoint into the new colored red (first player/host) faction to make it playable.
I hope this makes things claer. I had the same problem with my first map and fixed it with try and error...
Sorry for bad english :)
Have fun. Map looks great so.
