Modem Class Heavy Destroyer

The Modem is a mid-sized destroyer capable of dealing and taking a lot of damage. It relies on strong and well defended weaponry in order to last a long time while dishing out substantial damage.

The Modem is armed with two dual barrel APS railguns dishing out substantial damage using both supercavitation HP-sabot and armor piercing rounds. The turrets are fully enclosed in heavy armor as well. The Modem is also armed with 6 large missiles, and two large torpedoes as secondary weapons. The large missiles are mostly heavy armored.

For defense, the modem relies on it's high speed (40mps) and strong armor. For laser defense it has smoke and strength 10 shielding. It also is equipped with radar decoys, missile interceptors, some of which have flares, torpedo interceptors and a LAMS system. For large targets, the main guns will convert to CIWS at close range.

The modem is also using a new style of decking that I'm trying out, so any comments on aesthetics would be cool (ignoring the fact that the interior is somewhat crappy).

If anyone is interested in submitting a vehicle or structure or building something for the faction please let me know, I'll also gladly take suggestions for ships to use as references or ideas for crafts that would fit in with the rest of the faction.
