Description
Stan Stasiak wrestled mostly in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest before appearing for the WWWF in the early 70's.

The six-time NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion captured the WWWF Heavyweight Championship briefly during his second run wi the company in 1973, serving as a transitional champ to get the title from Pedro Morales to Bruno Sammartino without the latter needing to defeat the former.

Stasiak wrestled for multiple NWA territories in addition to having a few tours of Japan during his lengthy career before retiring in 1984.

He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018. Stan's son, Shawn Stasiak, wrestled for the WWF and WCW in the late 90's and early 2000's.
