[RWI] - Phoenix-Class Frigate (Modern)

Hello everyone,
Today I’m releasing the updated and modern version of the iconic RWI Phoenix-class Assault Frigate. Originally introduced in 2017, the frigate has been updated during 2020 and now 2021 to fit with the modern aesthetic of Space Engineers. Also for use in new series such as Space Engineers Frontier and Colony Alliances.

Taking inspiration from the UNSC Stalwart and UNSC Paris-class frigates gave birth to the Phoenix-class. Myself and my good friend Venom415 designed the frigate to look UNSC-ish, but also fit in with the line of RWI ships currently out and about, especially the Defender-class and the Daedalus-class.

As a *reminder* These RWI ships are made for cinematic and RP content, therefore do not expect them to fully work in Survival-gameplay environments. Enjoy!

Launched in 2732, the Phoenix-class is one of RWI’s newest starships put into active service. Assigned to patrol and strike missions, ships of this class would find themselves working in small battlegroups to quickly and effectively eliminate threats and control situations.

With the decommissioning of the Heavy Assault Frigates, RWI Engineers recognized the importance of the Heavy Assault Frigate in the Fleet and sought to build a new assault frigate that featured similar designs to the previous model. One of the most infamous Heavy Assault Frigates, the RWI Reliant, gave inspiration and design ideas for the creation of the Phoenix-class.

A task force, which was sent to reinforce the recently attacked Epsilon Base, contained 3 Phoenix-class assault frigates which proved extremely useful in the resulting battle. The Phoenix Class has become monumental in securing several victories, most notably against the Shadows in the RWI-Shadow War.
