MTS Tarrthail - Marine Salvage Vessel

Inspired by Irish Lights Vessel Granuaile, MTS Tarrthail is an offshore salvage and recovery vessel based off ILV Granuaile. She is designed to be capable of towing and recovering vessels which have lost power at sea and require assistance getting back to shore. It also has the ability to recover vessels that have taken on water and sunk with the use of onboard pumps. A 7.5m rib sits on the back deck and can be launched by the crane to recover stranded victims or bring salvage equipment to the casualty vessel. There is space on board for both passengers and crew to live, there is also a medical room for injured passengers to be treated.

Climb aboard and make your way to the bridge
Go to the starboard bridge wing and you will find the electrical and engine control panel
Turn on the top 4 circuit switches for essential lights, essential systems, engines & propulsion and finally heavy electrics. The lower four switches control domestic lighting and less critical onboard amenities and can be turned on at your discretion without affecting the main electrics.
When they are on you can start the main engines by using the buttons on the panel below the electrical panel.
Using either the helm or bridge wing panels you can control the ships throttle and steering.
The bridge is full of controls for lights and systems, all labeled, that you can use when you need them
