Description
Lou Albano wrestled for over 15 years, having most of his success tagging with Tony Altomare. The duo was known as The Sicilians in the WWWF.

In 1970, Albano transitioned into managing, playing off his greatest strength, his charisma. He took on Ivan Koloff as a client and helped him capture the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship from Bruno Sammartino, then managed multiple other top heels in their attempts to win gold over the next 16 years.

Albano was instrumental in the Rock 'n' Wrestling era, managing the Fabulous Moolah, who was feuding with Wendi Richter and Cyndi Lauper.

Outside of wrestling, Albano notably appeared in Lauper's music video for "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and starred in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show as Mario.

Albano was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996.

He actually appeared in two Lauper videos. Remember Good Enough? I think that one also had several notable WWF personalities (Iron Shiek, Volkoff and Blassie, I think)
