About VIA Rail's Budd Streamliners

Originally built in the 1950s for Canadian Pacific, these stainless steel cars continue to operate today on Canada's Passenger Rail Network under VIA Rail on long-distance and rural routes. VIA's Coaches provide cheap but comfortable travel across Canada. While basic, they are very effective at carrying large numbers of passengers.
