This model also applies to the infected in the vs mode?

Sad that this mod breaks your entire hud completely if you play with horizontal splitscreen on.

To tell you the truth, I've actually tried adding CCS myself but I'm too inexperienced to figure out what needs to be done. I used Urik and tomaz's HUDs as references but to no avail. (I know I'm editing stuff without permission - my apologies.)

That said tho, that's good news at least. Will be looking forward to it if you ever manage to release it. I'm a sucker for HUDs that are "squeezed" tighter to the centre (might also be just because I mostly play console games). :D

I actually already have an update 80% finished that includes custom crosshair support, but it's been on hold for several months now. No idea when I'll have time to get back to it, still needs many hours of tedious trial-and-error testing.

Any possibility of custom crosshair support?

Unfortunately those are both limitations of this mod. You can find a full list of other equally tragic limitations on the main Xbox HUD page. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2429155879

the icons around the dpad when you select them don't light up, is that an issue that can't be fixed or just not done yet? also, it would've been really cool to see the flashlight ticking on and off when you hit it just like in the xbox version.

Thought of doing these but for with the L4D1 hud? I know some people like L4D1s hud over 2, I personally prefer the Health bars from the first one game.

in case you actually want to know why: in horizontal mode, your health and inventory have to get squished in a special way, and even though it looks like the hud barely moves in this mod, your health bar has a DRASTICALLY different size, scale, and position in this mod than in vanilla l4d2, which results in the hud getting broken in various ways when the game tries to squish it.

changing the resolution actually breaks the thing that squishes your hud in both splitscreen modes, causing the huds on both halves of the screen to be treated like regular fullscreen games. there are, however, some failsafes that correct the splitscreen huds in the event of this occurring, so those + some more i added for this mod = the rest of the hud being in splitscreen mode, but with the inventories and health bars being "broken" and displaying at full, normal size. then we can just move the primary/secondary weapons around the dpad menu and voila

so basically, you're breaking the hud to fix it

works really well in vertical. Just weird you need to change resolution in horizontal to get it to work :3 I personally use vertical so for me this is perfect.

Good job!
