Description
NOTE: Updated as per requested.. now ready for RE without modding.. Has plenty of CPU for additional upgrades.

If you are like me, you hold on to your favorite designs and stupid CPU level restrictions do not matter. Especially this great Jeff Randall original design. I have been using versions of the MX-5 since V8. Jeff's original design:

This is my REFORGED version updated with more, larger, faster thrusters, more generators, more fuel tanks 4 Rail Guns, 4 Laser Turrets, 2 Plasma Canon, 3 Laser Canon. and a shield. Swapped out the container controller for the ammo controller so it can carry plenty of ammo. Also added a small harvest controller. You can always use the ammo controller for storage.


Thanks to Jeff for his excellent original design which everyone loves.

Sadly this is no longer working as a starter warp ship since it uses a lot of rare materials. Too bad. The basic design was better.

Updated as per request.. no mods needed. Plenty of thrust, firepower and still CPU left for upgrades.

I can see Fluffy’s point. The refit for thrust and generators is work I’m glad you did for me, however. It’s a great ship. Thanks

why brand it as reforged if we have to alter it to use in reforged? Can't you make the changes and repost so it's usable from the start?
